Motor Vehicle Accident Massage

At Massage & Spa at Bethany, we specialize in utilizing medical massage therapy to alleviate pain stemming from motor vehicle accidents. Conditions including whiplash, muscle spasms, myofascial pain, migraines, neck and back injuries can significantly benefit from our services.

If you have recently have been suffering from injuries from a motor vehicle accident, you may be eligible to receive medical massage therapy covered by your insurance! With a referral from your chiropractor or medical doctor, you can receive treatment for your accident-related injuries for an extended period of time. We also offer assistance in coordinating with your auto insurance and handling billing processes for your convenience.

Why Medical Massage Therapy After Your Accident?

Unlike relaxation massages, medical massage is specifically targeted towards addressing specific health issues, such as musculoskeletal injuries, chronic pain, or post-surgery rehabilitation. During each medical massage session, your therapist will assess your condition, identify areas of concern, and create a tailored treatment plan to address individual needs effectively.

The primary goals of medical massage are to alleviate pain, improve range of motion, enhance circulation, promote tissue healing, and facilitate overall wellness. Through a combination of hands-on techniques and collaboration with your other healthcare providers, we aim to provide relief and support the healing process after your accident.

Medical Massage Therapy Costs

Medical Massage Therapy pricing varies from our standard spa massage services. Medical massage covered under MVA (Motor Vehicle Accident) insurance is billed according to UCR (usual, customary, and reasonable) fees. This service is provided in 15-minute increments at a rate of up to $50.00 per unit. Billing is calculated based on the actual time devoted to your treatment, extensive hours for billing processes, meticulous tracking, and payment collection. Additionally, comprehensive and well-documented records and chart notes are essential for billing purposes, which are not required for our spa treatments.
